2016 Summer Camps

Glow-in-the-Dark Art Camp- Part II (4-9 years) Back by popular demand with all new projects! These projects will ROCK your child's world long after the lights go out at night. You guessed it, all the project we will create at this camp will glow-in-the-dark! How cool is that?!?!?! We will be working with a variety of different art supplies including clay, paint and other luminescent materials to create masterpieces your child will be ready to show off in the dark! Monday-Thursday 6/13-6/16, 1:00-4:00 or Monday-Thursday 8/29-9/1, 9:00-12:00 All About the Sparkle Camp (4-9 years) Is sparkle your child's favorite color? If so, they will love this camp! They'll make brilliant, sparkly masterpieces including a portrait of a pony, a trinket box and a painting of a butterfly. The kids will learn different art terms and techniques as they get messy with Model Magic^�, plaster of Paris, and more spectacularly sparkly supplies. The projects your child crafts in this camp will glitter, gleam, sparkle and shine. Monday-Thursday 6/20-6/23, 9:00-12:00 or Monday-Thursday 8/15-8/18, 1:00-4:00 Horsing Around Mini-Camp (5-12 years) Is your child crazy about horses? Arabians, Thoroughbreds, and Palominos- do they love them all? In this popular camp, your child will learn simple step-by-step techniques to draw and sculpt beautiful horses. But that's not all! They will also create mini horse accessories, a pasture scene and more. Their masterpieces are sure to win blue ribbons! Friday 6/24, 9:00-3:00 Disney Princess Dress-Up Camp (3-6 years) This is art your child can play dress-up in! Give your young artist a chance to transform themselves into their favorite Disney� princesses and fairies like Tinkerbell, Cinderella, and Elsa. Each day in this fun filled camp, we will create projects the kids can wear home! We'll make gowns, crowns, jewelry, masks and more. Monday-Thursday 7/18-7/21, 9:00-12:00 All Dolled Up Mini-Camp (5-12 years) Back by popular demand! Your child and her American Girl^� Doll (or another favorite doll) will love this camp! We'll make all the accessories a doll needs, including pets, doll sized treats, jewelry, and even a mini birthday cake! By the end of this camp, your child's special friend will be all "dolled" up. Bring your doll to camp each day so they can join in the fun! This program is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by, American Girl Brands, LLC. Dates: Friday 7/22, 9:00-3:00 Pajama Party Camp (4-9 years) Roll out of bed and come to camp in your jammies! Why? Because every kid is just a little bit more creative while wearing their slippers! These art projects are anything but ordinary. We'll create turtles, trees, masks and more magnificent masterpieces that are designed to educate and inspire your child as they learn about the wonders of art. We will sculpt, collage, print, paint and (of course) create a huge mess as we explore basic art concepts- all while in our P.J.'s. Dates: Monday-Thursday 8/1-8/4, 9:00-12:00 I "Heart" Art Mini-Camp (5-12 years) Does your child love art? Painting, drawing, clay- it's all awesome! We will experiment with many techniques, materials and styles as we make 3D owls, stylized self-portraits, clay coil creations and more. Come to camp ready for some mess-making fun. We'll do it all at this artsy camp! Dates: Friday 8/19, 9:00-3:00

2016 Summer Workshops

Studio Time (18 months-9 years) Looking for a fun activity to do with your child? Studio Time is a flexible drop-in class that allows young artists unstructured time to create. Every class, we will set up 4 fun art stations with lots of cool art materials and projects. Sorry, this is not a drop off class. Children are welcome to stay as long as they wish. Children must be accompanied by a caregiver. Friday 6/17, 1:30-3:30 Me Time for Mom & Dad- Tie-Dye Party (3-9 years) Need a 3 hour vacation from your little one? Drop off your child at Kidcreate and go shopping, read a book, grab some coffee or run errands without your little helper. We'll keep your child busy creating while you enjoy some time to yourself. This is NOT a project you want your kids doing at home! Send your kids to class to make a tie-dyed shirt they will wear all year long. Saturday 6/25, 9:00-12:00 Signing up siblings? Sign up additional children for 50% off! Mommy's Time Off- 4th of July Crafts (3-9 years) This drop off class is great for mommies, daddies or whoever wants a little break! Let your kids express their creativity while you enjoy some time to yourself. We will have a blast as we create 4^th of July inspired crafts. We will create crazy hats and star-spangled wavers that are sure to be a hit at any 4^th of July celebration! Friday 7/1, 9:00-12:00 Signing up siblings? Sign up additional children for 50% off! Friday 7/29, 1:00-4:00 Mommy's Time Off- Tie-Dye Party (3-9 years) This drop off class is great for mommies, daddies or whoever wants a little break! Let your kids express their creativity while you enjoy some time to yourself. This is NOT a project you want your kids doing at home! Send your kids to class to make a tie-dyed shirt they will wear all year long. Children must bring their own white t-shirt to class. Friday 8/5, 9:00-12:00 Signing up siblings? How to Draw- Hello Kitty (5-12 years) Our How to Draw classes are great summertime boredom busters! Three hours of step-by-step drawing instruction is a dream come true for any kid. The drawing supplies and project ideas will be different every class, so sign up as often as you like without worries of repeats! This is a drop off class, 3 hours of me-time for mom! Friday 8/26 1:00-4:00
